A portfolio is an important tool for showing proof of your design, technology or written skills. Work may be shown in a variety of formats, from hard copy (paper!) to static electronic formats (.pdfs, etc.) to websites.
Professionals in the field (alumni and faculty!) are important resources for determining the creative layout and content – type and quality of work that you choose to include. The Taubman College Career & Professional Development team is also available to provide feedback on general formatting (especially ease of finding/viewing your projects) as well as quick reviews for errors. Portfolio Reviews
Taubman College alumni are invited to participate in a portfolio review event once each year to provide current students with feedback and constructive criticism on their professional portfolios. This event typically takes place virtually during the fall semester.
Students can register for this event through Career Forge. Capacity is limited, with spots being awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
