A PCard is a university-issued credit card that allows eligible, authorized employees to make immediate payments for university business travel expenses, hosting, memberships, occasional supply orders, and transactions under $5,000 only when items aren’t available through internal providers, university contracts, or catalogs found on Marketsite+. Service payment on PCard requires pre-approval from procurement services and is generally discouraged. To obtain a PCard, employees will need to contact Business Services for detailed application procedures at taubmancollegefinance@umich.edu. Business Services is responsible for monitoring compliance, and all PCard transactions are subject to audit.
