Your final term is a time of excitement! Here are a few quick reminders of items specific to international students as you prepare for graduation.
Apply to Graduate
Complete these Action Items to begin the process for being approved to graduate.
Work Authorization: CPT + OPT
Many of you are finalizing details for internships and other work experiences for this spring and summer. Make sure to visit the Work Authorization page on the Taubman College Intranet to review the process and support available for requesting CPT and OPT. You are encouraged to submit your requests as soon as possible to ensure the advising team gets you the necessary paperwork and you can account for the processing time that the International Center requires for these requests.
Travel Outside the U.S. and Re-Entry
As many of you consider traveling outside of the U.S., you need to be aware of important immigration and security regulations that apply to leaving and re-entering the U.S. We’ve been asked to specifically highlight the I-20 Travel Signature Request. The International Center provides this page with detailed information on this topic and more.
