Colors

The abridged version of the Taubman College Style Guide includes preferred colors for college materials. There are three categories for the brand colors: Primary Color Palette – Maize and Blue, Supporting Color Palette – Canham Pool 2, and Accent Color Palette – Cobalt, Chartreuse, and Coral. The accent color palette is used sparingly in communications. The Style Guide includes an expanded palette of vibrant colors mainly for internal promotional purposes.

University of Michigan – Maize and blue play a vital role in establishing a clear and powerful image and defining the University of Michigan Brand. Taubman College benefits from its affiliation with the U-M brand. Find the university’s primary color palette on the Brand & Visual Identity website. You will also find a supporting color palette that complements the primary palette of maize and blue. However, you are encouraged to consider the college’s primary and secondary palette when additional color choices are needed.
