Student printing
MPrint printing — a University managed service offering basic 8.5×11 and 11×17 black and white and color printing, available 24/7, on designated MPrint printers in the College 3rd floor studios (see below). Jobs are submitted online through MPrint.umich.edu; printing is priced at $0.09 per letter-sized impression for black and white and $0.30 per color impression. Tabloid 11×17 impressions count as two letter-size impressions, MPrint printers use is funded through the $24 per semester University printing allocation provided to every student; usage above $24 per semester is billed to the student’s account.
Printing Lab printing — a College managed in-house service specializing in providing large-format as well as 8.5×11 and 11×17 black and white color printing for faculty, staff, and students. Large-format jobs are submitted online through Mediacenter.tcaup.umich.edu and picked up at the Printing Lab (2107A); pricing is calculated on submission. The Printing Lab accepts credit cards for payment at its Information Desk (2107A). More information is available here
Self-serve large-format printing — An HP PageWide large-format color printer, available 24/7, maintained by the Printing Lab in 3158 for students who wish to print their own work. Jobs are submitted via a downloadable “Print Deploy” application which is also available on all computers in the College Computer Lab (2109). Jobs are released using a Release Station computer in 3158. Funding is provided via credit card deposit made at the Printing Lab Information Desk (2107A).
MPrint Printers
The College’s MPrint printers, listed below, can be found in the College’s 3rd floor Studio in Room 3158 (on the west side) and 3100 (in the connector between the main studio and the College Wing). Jobs are submitted online via MPrint.umich.edu.
