We have seen countless alumni have success on both pathways! We outline some considerations for your decision below, as well as some tips for finding the right graduate program.

Making Your Decision
Much like the job or internship search, we recommend doing research on schools and academic programs of interest. OurĀ Sample Comparison Spreadsheet, accessible through Google Drive using your U-M credentials, can be adapted for the graduate school search and may prove useful for comparing programs. Some additional tips:
- Explore offerings at schools of interest. Consider joining mailing lists, attend information sessions, or schedule a visit to campus.
- Review program structure. Understand how long will it take to complete the program, consider if the curriculum include an internship or experiential learning component.
- Career Options. Does the school outline career outcomes for their graduates? Can you find alumni of Taubman who have attended this school and can discuss their experience? What job titles are available to people who pursue the degree pathway you are interested in?
- Evaluate by location. Is the school you are considering in a location where you would like to live and work in the long-term?
- Identify costs. What is the cost to apply? What are the expected living costs in this location? What is the cost of tuition?
